i've posted a few (not very good) discussions on my noobing about the site and some of them have light bulbs on them?
does it have something to do with the secret ranking system i've yet to find any information about?

It means that since you last read the topic how ever many people are next to the + sign have replied.

Like if it is lightbulb +2 then 2 people replied, +6 then 6 people replied etc.
