Setting a lure is something that indicates how much you want a product, mostly for personal note taking. Some product pages let you do it right from there, but the easiest is to do it from a wishlist. The wishlist can be public or private, but either way you can just go down the line of items on it and set how badly you may want it.

I was wondering that too...I figured that was what it was for, but I saw on something else (I can't remember where I saw it) something that made it look like a rating of how you liked it after you purchased it...which I thought was weird.

The stars on the product page are used to rate items. Do you think that might be it?

Nah, I knew what those were right away. It was a lure but I just don't think I understood what they were setting it for. I get it now though :-D

I figured it out. When You have a wishlist and on the item there are the little strawberries(at least thats what they look like to me) you click 1-5 and set your desire for the item. I think it may move the item up on your wishlist, if they are listed in order by desire.

Why can't we always set the lure from the product page?

IT's helpful for anyone checking out your list if you mark a lot of items
