I'm getting this message "you have to complete previous free assignments before requesting new one" when I try to request an item for review. I don't know why it says that because I have completed my previous assignments. It was completed a month ago! I have one review in a draft from an item that I bought, but it was not free. I had to buy it.

Any idea why I'm getting this message?

By chance was it a 30% buy-out? That also counts towards your assignments and if it is in drafts, you need to finish it before you request new ones.

Like other said support thicket is the way to go. Posting here your depending someone guessing what happen or someone with the power to check reading this by chance.

I was wondering if I was the only one with the problem and instead of going straight into support tickets, I wanted to get advice here and wait a day or 2 in hopes of it fixing itself. Apparently I do need to submit a ticket because it's still happening. I just didn't want to be a bother if there was something else I could do.

By the way, no it was not a buyout assignment. All of my free assignments have been reivewed and actually the last one was reviewed a month ago so there's no reason for that to be a problem. I made a purchase and reviewed one of the items and the other I had the review only as a draft because it's really not ready for publihing yet. I think it's, for some reason assuming that is a free assignment rather than realizing it was paid for. ? Support ticket here I go! Thanks guys.

OK. I'm pretty sure I just figured out the problem. In my assignment cart, out beside the last assignment I had it still has the "write review" button. Strange because my review is submitted and published. It was a review on the pink zipper dress. I guess that's causing me to get the complete previous assignment message though. Submitted a support ticket though!

I think what happened was that even though you wrote the review, you wrote it from your assignment cart and not from your assignment list. Doing it that way it doesn't take it off of your assignment list and the disclaimer at the bottom doesn't say that you got it for free in exchange for an unbiased review. I think what will happen is that the assignment will be canceled (since you did fulfill it) and you'll just have to keep a closer eye when you write assignment reviews in the future

Did you buy it getting the 30% discount? Because that is still a mandatory review. If I buy a lube 30% off on the buyout, I still can't request anything else until it's done.

The last two responses indicate that the problem was she wrote the review from her assignment cart, not her assignment list. It's two separate actions. It was just a simple mistake and an email to JR should clear it right up.

Wow, I'd never even thought of this! I feel like I easily could have made the same mistake a few times. I thought that you couldn't grab for your assignment cart items that you'd already been assigned? Or is that just items that you've already reviewed? Interesting.
