No, I don't have a problem with it; and if I do, I'll ask for my husband's help.

It's how I felt when I had to learn Windows Office 2010 at college. The textbook was written before the patches were installed, so a lot of the more complicated tricks were impossible to do.

That's what Microsoft gets for pushing betas out like it always does ...

YES! I should have paid more attention to what I was buying besides it being a Vaio and pink! My old mouse pad (or whatever you call it) had two buttons on it- one for right clicking and one for left. I have a hell of a time now getting things to highlight, among other things with this mouse pad that doesn't have the buttons. It's been 4 months and I'm a little better at things but now if I want to copy and paste, I use ctrl+c or v.
I also HATE Windows 8, it drives me nuts. I miss the older operating system. I was even going to pay to DOWNGRADE and they told me if I do that then it will void the warranty on the laptop.
Oh how I HATE Windows 8 with a passion!

I've been using PCs since before the first IBM PC was introduced - so I know my way around most problems. They are a necessary tool - it's best to get along!

Not really, I've been around computers my whole life so I can figure them out pretty well. The most frustrating thing mine does is beep when it gets unplugged. It's really shrill and annoying but there's no way to disable it.

Not the computer itself so much as some peripherals — especially PRINTERS! I love that scene in Office Space where they take the hated office printer out into a field and smash it to pieces with baseball bats. I've wanted to do that more than once!

Not beat it up, that would only make things worse. But I do get annoyed and tired of it from time to time.

But that goes for anything 'technological'.

With my new one yes it does. Like now I am hoping it does not crash on me again it has been okay for about 2 weeks now. But this Microsoft 8 crap is so frustrating if it goes out I have to restore it back to factory date. Then I loose everything I have put on it.

My home computer is generally agreeable.

but.....my WORK computer makes me want to fling it out the window on a daily basis! It's because I have no control over what I wish it would do, and these programs we use are malfunctioning half of the time. Did they get them from the software bargain bin? Sheesh.

YES! I got my current laptop about 8 years ago when I was in 8th grade. It runs so terribly it's ridiculous. I have never been so frustrated with a machine before! Granted it is old and has done it's job, but it seriously limits my ability to do much of anything. I actually don't do near as many reviews here on Eden as I'd like because of it. I insist on adding pictures to all of my reviews and that takes a lot of effort with such a slow computer. Sometimes my SD slot doesn't even work so I have to restart it and stuff. Google chrome actually recently refused to work on my computer anymore. Firefox works (VERY slowly...) but chrome just wouldn't load up anymore even though it was updated and everything.

I want to get a new laptop, but I just don't have the money and I'm no good at saving. A Mac would be a dream for me.

Lol, I hate setting up printers too! Especially on networks.. ugh.

I'm a bit of a computer geek and know my way around pretty well. I can usually fix a lot of issues on my own, but my husband did IT for a years so luckily I have him to fix things that I can't.

I'm pretty computer savvy, not as much as some of my roommates (whom I can just ask if I need help), but there's rarely something about my computer itself that makes me frustrated. Sometimes working on certain projects (especially 3D sculpting) that can get pretty aggravating but that's 95% of the time my lack of knowledge about the program, not the computer. WELL, my old computer didn't even have 1 gig of RAM so waiting for that piece of shit to load anything was frustrating, but it's fine on my new one.

I love my computer. That thing is my life, haha. It can get frustrating when there's a problem that I don't know how to solve, but it then becomes kind of a fun process to figure out what's up and correct the issue. I am so, so proud to say that my computer doesn't give me many unexpected errors because I take the best care of it that I possibly can -- I remember when I was younger and our whole family had to share one computer, but half the family was computer illiterate. The thing was a mess! Every time someone would clean it up, someone else would screw it right back up again. Ugh. Hold on, I feel like I gotta hug my laptop just thinking about that...

Hardware is completely beyond me though, goes right over my head, that.
