Taking the toddler trick-or-treating for the first time tonight. It should be a lot of fun.

>__> I'm talking about both condoms+birth control. But I'm sterile anyway. Please don't assume everyone will end up with children/wants them.

Let's start with some "placement" facts, shall we?

Top 50 Scariest Horror Movies of All Time (according to Boston.com)

10. The Ring (2002)

09. Alien (1979)

08. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)

07. Halloween (1978)

06. Night of the Living Dead (1968)

05. Ju-on (2002)

04. Poltergeist (1982)

03. The Exorcist (1973)

02. Jaws (1975)

And the number one scariest horror movie of all time according to Boston.com:

01. The Thing (1982)

The Exorcist is pretty scary, but this is only their top ten out of a list of 50. I think I would have moved The Omen (#34) up a little higher on the list, as well as Psycho (#15) and The Shining (#11).

Do you agree with their choices for the top ten?

I'm sorry if I came off that way. That's not at all what I meant. Just stating that unless you are sterile, there is always a chance no matter the control method combo. I know someone in depo, cysts, one ovary and using condoms who had one. haha.

And my original comments were meant as joking facts, not to be critical and assuming things.

Not really, Jaws and the Texas chainsaw massacre weren't that scary in my opinion.

Not really. Some of those weren't scary. Maybe they were at the time.

I think one of the best horror movies ever was the *original* House on Haunted Hill with Vincent Price.

Nah, I'd say one of the scariest was the first Paranormal Activity.

Not really. I don't find Jaws, Alien and the Ring that scary. I definitely think your picks should have been higher up on the list. The Omen at 34? Come on.

Not really. Jaws was never scary. And The Thing as the scariest movie ever? Nope.
