#Roundup - March 22nd Edition

Contributor: Carrie Ann Carrie Ann
Welcome to the Weekly Roundup. Obviously, I'm filling in for Stormy here -- and for such a wee thing, she sure left some big shoes to fill! -- so bear with me if things are a little wonky, okay?

Let's start with some info about things that are on hiatus while we do a little reorganizing:

EdenCafe Giveaways: These are on hold for now. We'll definitely let you guys know if and when we start them back up again!

Video Reviews: We've got some changes going on with the video review program so, for right now, all assigned video reviews are on hold. Y'all can still email me for permission to add video or slideshows to your regular reviews and products you already own, but there won't be any push assignments going out for those for the foreseeable future.

SexIs Writing Contest: This is also on hold for the moment. We're still welcoming all your submissions to SexIs, and our editors are still working hard to get them edited and published, but we need to sort out what is going on with the writing contest.

One thing at a time and we're plowing through all the confusion and all that!

Contributor of the Month: With a little luck we'll be able to keep on track with this, just a week late. Keep an eye out for voting to start next week, with a winner announcement the first week of April.

Kegel Journals: Once again, we're still sorting this out but things should remain on track. Everyone who is taking part, keep kegeling! And send me those journals/notes that you were going to send Rayne, okay? CarrieAnn@edenfantasys .com

And now, on to the good stuff!

Win Your Wishlist We still have the Eden Helps Me Be ME with the Pinterest Wishlist Giveaway! going on so get those entries in. You have until March 29th!

Friends with Benefits Don't miss out on this week's EdenFriends special. You have to be following us on Facebook to qualify but I think it's worth it!

Fourth Annual April Fool's Day Review Rumble! Yes! It's that time again! Time for pure silliness, for nonsensical and whimsical fun! Can't wait to see what you guys come up with this year!

Here's hoping you all have a fantastic weekend but, before you go, we'd like to know...

What is the funniest prank you've ever pulled for April Fool's Day? What's the most elaborate or amusing thing someone's done to "get" you?

I remember this time my mom woke me up hollering about a flood and I tumbled right out of the top bunk...

Have a great one, guys! And remember, even though there are a lot of changes going on right now, you can always contact me, JR or Gary with any questions you might have. Don't be shy... just ask, okay? We want to take care of you and we can only do that if you come to us when you need to!

Fantastic job filling in Stormy and thanks for letting us know what's on hold, etc.

As for April Fool's jokes, I don't really get into doing them. They can be funny and silly and I don't mind them but I'm just not the prankster kind of person. If I do anything it's something small because I don't want to actually have someone think something is wrong and flip out about it. I'm kind of waiting around to see what my son does this year, he seems to have gotten in the spirit of trying to scare me or play pranks on me lately lol.

I'm not much of a prankster myself. My 19 year old son is, though. I'd be willing to bet he's already plotting...

I think he gets it from his gramma!

A good prank is to call your significant other, acting like the employer where they want to work, and asking them to come in for an interview. ^_^

I once wrote a friend a letter on April Fools day (put the date at the top) and went into great detail about how a friend asked me to marry him, etc. She called a mutual friend and left a message THREE times before she saw I signed it, "April Fools" and saw the date on the letter.

LOL! That's a pretty good one. I hope the mutual friend was in on it!

Hey guys, remember, if you post an April Fools Day review (and they can be posted any time between now and April 1st, to use #AprilFools in the title of the thread and to post a link in the official April Fools Rumble thread!

The SexIs writing contest? Or the monthly topic suggestion contest?

From the original post here:

"SexIs Writing Contest: This is also on hold for the moment. We're still welcoming all your submissions to SexIs, and our editors are still working hard to get them edited and published, but we need to sort out what is going on with the writing contest."

Both are actually on hold at the moment. I"ll update the individual threads momentarily so the info is easier to find.

Best April fools joke someone played on me: a family member had bought my old car very recently, and then told me that something went wrong with the engine and it was going to be several thousand dollars to fix it. I felt horrible since I hadn't had any trouble with it, until he started laughing at me. April fools.

Has there been an updated thread on the video review program changes? I've been away for a little while so I'm just trying to update myself right now. I didn't see anything about the changes until this thread, so I figured I'd ask. That way I can be pointed in the right direction! Thanks!

No, no separate thread for video stuff.

I've been trying to keep the bulk the info for site updates in the round up for now -- since we're all spread a little thin -- plus some things are on temporary hold and some will be more permanent, so no sense updating every day or two, you know?

There will be more official announcements when definite changes happen. Until then, keep an eye on the Weekly Round ups and, as always, feel free to email me. I'll try to get back to you within a few hours, definitely within a day!
