I'm an old member. I've been around for years and years. I remember the days when I was able to stack my gift cards or use all my points to pay for 100% of a purchase. As a work from home mom of two who writes to supplement her husband's income, I miss those days. I can no longer use my gift cards and points to get toys that I, otherwise, would never be able to afford.

That being said, I have $92 in gift cards. Am I allowed to trade those codes for a code for that specific amount so that I can buy toys that I can't afford without these gift cards? Money is still being spent on EF, I'm not selling them. Just trading them for a gift card that totals the amount I have so that I can go back to loving EF and all that it is.

Yeah, good luck. I've got a lot of gift cards too and can only use 1 per purchase because of the rules now. I've asked about this multiple times. Even though one gift card is for winning the Rumble and another was given in an email after I purchased a bunch of merchandise. Because they are the same type of gift card, they can't be combined. It's pretty much pointless to get them in my opinion because I will never be able to use them all because I don't have enough money to continue buying a toy just to use a gift card. Although I do appreciate the Rumble contest!!

I would love to be able to do that too. Put them all into one code or gift card. That would be fair in my opinion.

I absolutely understand your wish to beat down the price of the desired products. Who wouldn't? But unfortunately, there is not much I can do for you.

But you still have the possibility to use a few gift cards of different types on the checkout.

For now, gift cards types are:
1. Rumble gift card, e-mail gift card.
2. Mentor gift card.
3. Electronic gift card.

So you can combine a card from each category during purchase.

And there are many other amazing offers on the site besides gift cards - sales, special deals, free gifts, etc!

I'm trying to be back. Lol. I think I'm more or less asking if I can trade the gift cards I have for a gift card in the value of the total of what I have, if someone else is willing to do that.

I'm in the same boat too. Frankly, probably everyone is.
It's actually really, really cumbersome, and the emails that keep coming in with more unstackable cards feel a bit off-putting.

I have dozens of gift cards from promotional emails at this point, some from classes, review rumbles, and the like that are just sitting in a .txt file I put together to keep track of what I've used, what I haven't, and what I could give to my friends, who sometimes shop here. I wish it could be addressed to make our purchases a bit easier, but whatever.

I, personally, don't know anyone that would be willing to trade multiple tiny amount gift cards for 1 large lump sum of their own money. Then the burden would be on them to have to pay the bulk of the money for several toys to use them--they would end up in the same boat as us. I mean I get emails that say "Look at this new toy we have! It's priced at only $89 on our website. And with this $7 gift card, you can get it for almost nothing!!" Really? Almost nothing...Hmmm. LOL

I could be wrong but I think you can use multiple mentor gift cards at the same time. It is just the promotional ones you can only use one at a time.

I have a bunch of gift cards from emails and it would be great to be able to spend them in bulk. But it's also great that we are getting them at all. To me it's a nice bonus and even a $5-10 gift card is pleasant to have.

I was wrong and maybe something changed but you can only use one mentor earned gift card at a time. That is disappointing. I was saving them to buy an expensive luxury brand toy.

We haven't been around lately due to this and that. I was surprised when someone mentioned the inability to stack gc's. We used to love being nominated for the rumbles and get rewarded for taking the extra mile in doing reviews and videos.

I did enjoy using them to get "luxury" items and the discounts from buyouts. We must have earned upwards of $200 in the rumbles throughout the years. I think we still have about $90 worth. Guess it's easy come, easy go.

Leil@, I was just wondering what the 'electronic' gift cards were. Are you talking about ones that people put money on themselves?

It would be cool if they at least had it once or twice during the year that members could use all their points to buy toys/products.. especially the ones that have racked up points already.
One day i don’t think would hurt profit as much... i know EF has to make its money too. I’m fairly new.... but for the older members that have been on here longer shouldn’t have to feel like their points are going to waste especially if you’ve already put in all that work/time.

The whole EF team deeply appreciate time and efforts our reviewers, mentors and editors put into developing the Review program, community and the website on the whole. Points allow our customers to low down the total price of their purchases up to 15%, and that's great!

But since there are more and more people who are loaded with points, we'll surely consider the possibility of the increasing amount of points available for applying to an order.

Thanks for the idea! It can be very useful for our community!
