ABCs of BDSM

Contributor: Carrie Ann Carrie Ann
So, ok, not everything on the list strikes me as all the BDSM'y but I'm wildly impressed with the time and effort put into this rhyme. And I know there's a head nod to Edward Gorey but...

Did anyone else actually visualize the Cat in the Hat reciting this one? I've been laughing all morning because that's exactly what my brain trudged up.

Green Eggs and Human Furniture.

I know, I know. And I'm supposed to have those visions. But my poor brain just does NOT work right.

And now, somehow, I find myself singing "C is for Cookie" in Cookie Monster's voice.

Halp!

Curiously enough, when I started reading it, I imagined it much in the style of the "Zydrate Anatomy" rhyme from Repo. By the time I finished it, I was hearing the girl who sings "I put the S-L-Y, the sly in house of Slytherin..." Anyone else know that song? Harry Potter geeks? I know I'm not alone!

This is an impressive undertaking - very clever!

I'm glad people are enjoying this - I'll definitely have to look up the Slytherin song and Zydrate Anatomy.

What makes the whole thing even more bizarre is that I wrote it during the first three days I quit smoking. Some of the rhymes were definitely inspired by withdrawal-induced hallucinations.

@Carrie Ann - Yeah, I admit it. I did have a green eggs and human furniture visitation while I was writing this. It morphed into a sushi buffet with characters from Nemo so I had to stop writing and go to my happy place for a while before I could pick it back up again.

See? I knew it couldn't be only me. Heh.

I'm with In the Pink, though. Much as it made me laugh, I was gobbsmackingly impressed with it's cleverness and the time it must have taken!
