#AskEden - Images for articles?

Contributor: BiLikesSciFi42 BiLikesSciFi42
Is anyone else having trouble with this requirement to include an image for an article? I'm so confused. I do not want to post a picture of myself and I'm not sure where to look for a relevant image that won't infringe on someone's copyright... where are you finding your images?

I've been taking my own pictures.

My first thought when I saw this requirement was that there would likely be a lot of people stealing images to meet it.

I wondered where some people find their pictures. You might try searching for pictures under the CC license.

The CC license is a great idea. I have found a website, freedigitalphotos.net that has great CC photos that are pretty consistent with some of the images on previous articles I had submitted. That's what I've used thus far, hope that helps.

There is a way to search google images to find non-copyrighted ones.

Yes, I had that issue as well. I did a google search on a site that had non-copywritten images that were free to use. This place called rgbstock. com is a place that I've used in the past.

Kira, I had that concern, too.

I love writing articles, but it can be such a hassle to find free images to use.

Hi you guys!

Like Kira said, you can take images yourself. They don't have to be of you. They can be of whatever you want. You can even make graphics or photomanipulations as long as the image is good quality.

The site AHubbyof2SexualMinds mentioned works. Free Photos

Another place that's great for free-to-use images is Flickr. They have a Creative Commons area with explanations of the different types of licenses. Flickr Creative Commons If you guys have any questions about these licenses and what's okay to use on SexIs, drop me a line at rayne[at]edenfantasys[dot]com.

Finally, some people don't mind so much if you use their stuff so long as you give them credit for it. If you see something online that you want to use, and you can determine who the creator is, feel free to contact them and ask them if they're okay with you using their stuff. Just make sure you put their information in the "Copyright" section in the image wizard.

Thanks!

I don't know if this has been said, I skimmed...sorry

But i use pics of EdenFantasys stuff that relates as close as possible like the school girl outfit for my article on BDSM online schools and the nurse costume for Domestic Submission.

I figure if its a magazine connected to EF they wont mine me using their photos with a link to the product.
