Cake products, to me, blow Philosophy products out of the water. The scent lingers longer, the ingredients are more luxurious and nourishing, the packaging is more my style, and so are the scents. I own or have owned so many of their products--lotions, lipglosses, shower gels, that awesome citrus body butter that gets rid of dimply cellulite-y bits, and especially the milk made hand cream and scrub. And their new perfume, which is growing on me and is exactly like a mature, darker, sexier, longer-lasting Pink Sugar.
The price is pretty crazy, but I always got mine during sales/with codes. Now on EF we can use giftcards, points, buy-outs, etc so it's kind of awesome.
Like Owl Identified, I find It's a Slice scrumptious. It's like vanilla-laced heavy whipping cream with a hint of orange baby aspirin. Once my life settles down I'll do in depth reviews of all the products.
shinypinkstars, I also LOVED the B&BW 3-in-ones--the cherry pie one, you could smell the pastry part! the Twisted Peppermint! The Frosting Forever, or Chocolate Mint.. *tears*.
I am so happy though to see higher-end beauty products making their way onto EF. Part of sexiness and sensuality for me--a huge part actually--is grooming (we came from apes, after all) and feeling soft and smelling nice. It's like pre-foreplay for me.
stainedclear, It's a Slice wouldn't likely clash with your perfume, because your perfume would overpower the lotion a lot. The body wash, it would overpower completely. The hint of soft vanilla and the citrus might go well with the perfume. Let me know how you like the Snow Woman trio! I LOVE it, but I was bummed that the bottles were small and that it's a limited edition thing. It's much more strong, pure vanilla if that's what you're going for.
