I was looking at old posts and it appears to me that gift cards are posted/shipped and they are physical stuff. Or did it change so one can receive the card in email or something like that? How is is now?

There are both types. You can create a virtual gift card using points, or you can purchase a card online and have it shipped to you (for example to give as a gift). If it's a prize/payment from EF, you will be sent the code by either private message or email.

When you convert points to a gift card, you get a code which you access from your account page. I don't know about other types of cards.

gift cards earned by points is converted by u to a online GC on site. the gift cards earned by video reviews is emailed by Justin H. = $25
