How often (ever?) are there sales for EdenDVD offerings?

So, we're all pretty accustomed to Eden's incredibly generous toy sales.

I was wondering whether there were similar types of sales on their dvd offerings. I'm starting to get kind of curious about porn, but the prices are just a little higher than I feel like spending "just to see if I like something," and some of the videos I've been curious about don't have reviews. At the same time, I don't really want to do them as a monthly request or as a buyout, because since I'm so new to porn I think I'd do a crummy job of reviewing them (at least until I own more than 2 to have a reasonable background for comparison.)

So, do they ever have DVD sales? Should I be signing up for an extra weekly newsletter, or something?

There was a sale a few weeks ago (October) on some Wicked Pictures and Playboy videos. I bought a few since they were really cheap ($16-18). I think that may be the only time I remember them being on sale.

Apart from the one Kindred mentioned, I don't recall there being sales on porn.
I wish there was cause I've had to just pay full price (apart from getting 15% with an affiliate code). I just bought two dvds up around $50 each which was a killer. They should be waiting for my at the post office today. YAY!

Porn Club is probably the best way to go if you want to try some out before actually spending cash on some. But in my experience, I have found most of them bore me. I have much prefered the ones I bought myself - so far.
It would also mean having to review it.
I found it scary at first writing the reviews for dvds, but it's not that difficult - unless of course ya hated the dvd...hehehe.

Yeah, the porn club ones don't seem to have too much to offer to me, at least so far. And I don't want to be bound to reviewing them til I know what I'm looking for in porn... because it might by my "fault" if I hate it by picking one that doesn't suit me.

Hm hm hm. Guess I'll have to think a little harder. I hope you like the ones you've got on order!

I have only been choosing one porn club dvd per month lately. As much as I like girls, I don't care for lesbian porn cause they never use toys or anything. So it's boring to me.
I try to pick the best out of the two on offer, but apart from The Flintstones and Friday The 13th, the rest have been ick or just 'ok'. I think it sux that they have given us lesbian, but no gay!
I love watching two guys - not so keen on them kissing, but I can work through that to see the rest....hehehe.

The three I got (they were waiting for me to pick them up - but would have been here last week if it weren't for xmas) are:

~ InTERActive - had my eye on that one for awhile. Sounds pretty cool.

~ Playgirl's Erotic Collection: Secret Lovers, Body Worship, Stripped

~ Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita. Part 2 - It's a gay movie and I'm hoping to get my hands on part 1, but it seems Eden only carried one of each. So I might have to buy it from another US site cause I can't find this version in Australia - only the original. I prefer to buy here though. I can see why people didn't buy this one though - at $59. Pretty steep, but the fact that it has gay porn in it hooked me.

Eden needs more guy on guy dvds!

If I still had all the porn dvds I wasn't that keen on (gave them to the landlord) and there are anything you'd be interested in, I'd be happy to send them over to you.
Don't suppose you liked the look of Shane's World Volume 42 Paradise Island?
I still need to finish my review on that, but it's not my type. I'm not into porn where the stars just want to get drunk.

Yeah, I really don't see sales up often at all! You can always use the site wide coupons, but they should really have more sales on DVDs now that you mention it!

I wish...the porn club ones (the last two) haven't done anything. But maybe that's just because of me. I have yet to find an amazing film. I'm just to cheap to purchase films usually.
