It is very popular--and also with this being the beginning of a new year, they are possibly clearing last year's inventory out to make room for the new items.....

It's definitely the worst part of this company, I personally think. When 80% of your wishlists are out of stock, at all times, there's really problems there.

Oh yeah. I used to have 140 items in mine and I just went through and I have 24 items left that are in stock.

I agree. I just went through both my and my partner's wish lists and could not even come up with $70 worth of merchandise to take advantage of the free gift offer. I have 65 items and she has well over 100. I have had to resort to buying from other sites, which I hate to do because EF is such a great company.

I agree it is upsetting that a lot of items are out of stock, but companies pay taxes on inventories, & it is possible that the manufacturers also reduced their inventories to lower their liability. It would be nice to have a button on items that are out of stock, that would allow us to pre-order items so EF would know how many more of an item they need to satisfy demand.
As a company they don't want to waste shelf space on items that don't sell well or capital on inventory that doesn't turn.
