UPS or USPS

Contributor: kawigrl kawigrl
Do you like to have your orders shipped with UPS or USPS? I prefer USPS. I live in a city and have found that UPS and Fedex do not put in enough effort to make actual deliveries attempts and leave notices (most of the time they don't even leave a notice and claim they made a delivery attempt).

As long as the United States Postal Service is still in business, ha ha, I will continue to use USPS service. From Atlanta to Seattle, I get my boxes in 3 days including the ship date! UPS will take up to 5 days; way to long to wait!!! I want my toys NOW, HOT and NOW!!!

I get my stuff the very next day if I order with UPS Ground, but they like to leave my packages in the middle of my long driveway or on the side of the road. I'll wait another day and get it with USPS. Unless I'm really impatient. :3

I dont like any of em cuz they never knock or let me know anything has been delivered and they always literally throw my packages at my doorstep. However USPS delivers sooner in the day than UPS, but UPS is easier to track the shipping process for me

Regular mail service. The UPS driver on my route smokes in his truck so every package I get from them reeks of smoke and I'm sensitive to it.

Same here. Not only that but they just leave things on my door mat in front of my door inside of inside the gate like asked. I live in an apartment on a busy street and anyone could steal them if they saw them. So USPS for sure.

I usually go with USPS. Our regular mailman always leaves my packages. UPS is sort of unreliable.

Both just depends. They have both let me down in the past.

UPS by far. I always get my package on time or early with them. They leave it in a good spot if I'm not home. USPS usually is 2 day late or leave it at the wrong house. Ive had things ruined from leaving my package outside in the rain instead of on my stoop when it doesn't fit in our package box. Really depends on where you live, though.

USPS even though sometimes they take forever, and don't update the tracking info.

USPS for international delivery. I can do the customs payments myself online without charge.

I like UPS for the fact that I can track it easier since they update the every move of the package almost as soon as it happens. USPS doesn't really update much, however with USPS I am able to get packages on the weekends. Each have their positives and negatives. I don't have the issues with the drivers though they always leave them in the chair on my porch.

UPS I live in the country and they drop it at my door. If the USPS doesn't feel like driving up my driveway (1/4 mile) I get a card and I have to drive 15 miles to the post office to pick up my package.

I always pick UPS. I can't say enough good things about them. I don't have much good to say about USPS!

I've noticed that a lot of the time, my packages will get here faster with the free usps shipping than with the 10 dollar ups shipping.

USPS, faster and easier shipping, usually cheaper, comes at the same time as regular mail.
