#AskEden - Why does this site have so much listed that's out of stock with no likely return date?

Contributor: Kenneth Fort Kenneth Fort
It makes navigating the site rather difficult, since you have to sort through tons of things that simply aren't there. I get that you can set waits for things, but that's hardly the way to get things in an immediate fashion.

I think they're still working on updating all of the pages to the new format, thus why some products don't have the "expected arrival date" yet.

I've noticed this too, but I think they're just updating things still. There's a LOT of items on Eden and a lot of information to sort!

I know when I've asked on another site about when a product would be restocked, they told me they couldn't give me a date because they couldn't get a part at their factory to make the product. I think sometimes the manufacturer simply can't give Eden an estimate.

Have you tried clicking the "Hide out of Stock products" box?

I've alerted our product manager and he should be along soon to explain.

Hello there!

Thank you for shopping at EdenFantasys! We will try to make your experience as fun and easy as possible. I understand that some products are not currently available. We are actively restocking products on a daily basis. There may be a few instances where the products have been on hold/delayed on the manufacturer side due to a number of reasons and they will show Out of Stock on EdenFantasys product pages.

Thanks,

Maxim

Most of the time if it's a specific product you're looking for, Customer Service is great for giving you a time frame. Also like others said, the new system is probably still updating, I like having an expected return date on some things, that's better than before when you're only option was to contact Customer Service. Also probably helps reduce the # of Support Tickets as well.

I hope more items get this new feature soon. It's so helpful in planning purchases.
