Free shipping on Canadian/international orders -- a pipe dream, or possible reality?

You know, sometimes it sucks being a Canadian on an American sex toy site. (Not very often, but sometimes!) One of the times it sucks most is when it comes time to get the total on an order; namely, the moment that you realize that no matter how much your order costs, you're not going to be able to benefit from the same shipping deals that American customers can get.

Here on EF I see that shipping is free on any order over $59 for American customers. But shipping to Canada starts at $15.00, and international customers have to pay even more.

Is free shipping for "the rest of us" something that might ever be implemented? I'm sure those of us beyond US borders would appreciate it. Or even if it was just a periodic promotion-type deal.

Or am I just engaging in wishful thinking? *L*

YAY - I have often wondered this too!
Shipping to AU starts at $25 and that jumps quick with only a couple of items.

On ebay:
I have always wondered (and kinda thought maybe it was snobby sort of thing, to deter 'outsiders' buying) cause on ebay, ya often see sellers in the US offering free shipping within the US. I can't understand why the sellers don't take the shipping cost of sending within the US off international shipping. But they NEVER do!
That to me says - screw you outsiders, I'm only giving my own people the priviledge of free shipping.

I have wondered why they won't treat us 'outsiders' the same. I know it costs a lot more to post overseas, so even if we had to spend a reasonable amount more to get the free shipping - like $150.
I know I'd REALLY appreciate it!

I think it may be wishful thinking. We are either lucky or unlucky (however ya like to see it), that we don't live in the US.

I think it would be fair to at least give us a discount on the shipping which is equivalent to what American shipping costs.

I would love if there were some sort of discount for ordering into Canada. I can't believe how expensive it gets!
