It would be nice if EF showed "Estimated restock date: xx xx" for out of stock items.

I've been ready to order a couple times and the dreaded "out of stock" notice comes up on an item so I patiently wait for days until the item (hopefully) comes back in stock again. Wouldn't it be nice to have EF shows hen the item will likely come back in stock so we could have some idea how long it will be until an item is available again.

This would make it easier to decide if we should just get an alternate item or if it's worthwhile waiting for the original item to come back again if the estimated wait won't be excessively long.

I absolutely agree... I originally came to EF hoping to get a NobEssence toy which is listed as out of stock. I emailed the NobEssence sales staff directly and they let me know a batch was on its way to EF, so I'm waiting patiently.

But for other items (like the Gold Laced G, I can't find the manufacturer online, and am just going to have to hope it'll be back soon. But should I hold my shopping cart 'til it comes? I'd love to have estimated dates, as well.

I concur! I think that would be really helpful! Cause some out of stock items I really want

It would be nice, but I think that sex toys in general can be hard to predict when they're coming in, especially the small-batch manufacturers. While companies such as Pipedream and Doc Johnson have large warehouses, some of the smaller companies ship as fast as they make them and probably have waiting lists.

I think it's a great idea but I understand ScottA's point. I really wish I could back order items. Then I could just pay up front and have them ship out when they're back in stock!

I agree with all of the above. although I would probably not pay for backordered stuff since in some cases that takes WAY too long and that money can go to something I can get now instead.

having estimated restock dates would be awesome though.

You can also submit a support ticket asking for an approximate restock date. I've always gotten a response within a day or two.

oooh yes. this would help with my current problem...just trying to wait patiently til what i want is back. it'd be nice to be able to not check it constantly and just have a guess at when it's coming back!

I just patiently wait. I understand manufacturing and shipping. I usually just order something else in the mean time. Afterall, many products come from overseas.

Agreed. I've been driving the staff nuts with this since I first discovered EF.

I'd love to see something as well. Even if they can't predict when it will be here, just a head's up that it was ordered and should be back instock soon would be great. I'd hate to be waiting on an item that they weren't even going to reorder and I know I can submit a ticket, but I really hate to do that if I don't have to.

I've done this as well, it's always helpful. But when there is a time frame of it being restocked, it would be very helpful.

I completely agree! I think it is a waste of time and resources to have to submit a ticket everytime I want to know when an item will be back!
