Okay, it's probably just me, but the Groovy Chick on the front page is driving me bonkers, because it's orange, and the two toys beside it are hot pink. The colors clash and ruin the symmetry of the page. I could probably ignore it, but the Groovy Chick is actually available in the same shade of pink, and so it could match.

Am I nuts? Probably. But there you have it.

They're probably just showing that it comes in an awesome color. But no, the color clash didn't occur to me because the toy in the middle is mainly white. I see what you mean though

That's exactly why it's bugging me. If it only came in orange I probably would be over it by now. Color coordination is apparently very important to me.

LOL you know I read this thread the other day. I didn't respond because I really had not payed much attention to it. I know my eye would lead there mainly because of the offset of the orange to anything else but I had not payed attention to how often.

Now that I am paying attention it is pretty much all the time. It is like it drags your eye there and you dont see anything else.

You should read The Girl with the Pearl Earring. The two main characters both have a strong sense of color coordination. And its an excellent book in general.

That's probably why they did it, to draw your eye to it. Could be a marketing technique maybe? Personally I am glad to see more than pink toys around here!

Oh, I'm in agreement when it comes to variety, especially variety that strays from pink, but the lack of symmetry!

Actually they should all be an assortment of different colors not just the orange. The toys should show more variety in order to be eye catching. Pink is so very feminine which is ok but...boring. They simply blend together not representing an interesting product. Not just the toys though, who's actually seen a pink pumpkin? Just get lost in it.

All that said it doesn't really bother me because what's inside is more important then the front page lol

Yes, if the six toys on the front page were six different colors, that would be fine too. But five pink toys and one orange one is just wrong! (In a purely superficial way, of course.)
