I know enough to get a gist of what's being said to me. I never feel comfortable responding in Spanish though.

Hey everyone, so the question is pretty simple - no fuss, no muss. Do you speak Spanish and how fluent are you? Please answer honestly and elaborate on any schooling/degrees you may have! Thanks!

I know a little bit, enough to understand generally what people are saying, but not enough to have a lengthy conversation.

I've taken 3 years of spanish, so I understand the basics. I'm better at read it rather then writing and speaking though.

My accent is crazy good! but it has been so many years that my vocabulary and my natural verb conjugation has really deteriorated. =(

I minored in Spanish and studied abroad. Whenever I fly through Miami though or another Spanish speaking place I always try to use it though.

I'm pretty proficient in spanish as a second language, but not quite fluent. I've been learning it for about 9 years, and can generally understand spoken and written spanish.

I can usually translate written sentences decently, at least enough to get the gist of it, but when speaking with a native speaker, they're usually way too fast for me to understand. Though sometimes I can pick out key words to get a general idea or answer questions (working in customer service).

I can read it pretty well, but can't translate it spoken as well. I tend to catch a word here and there in conversation.
