Being in a completely different time zone, I'm happy to take on shifts that US residence may not want due to sleeping times. And I could put in a number of shifts per week.

I've been suggesting toys and other things for people on the site for over a year and would be happy to help. And with compensation? Wow, couldn't be a better fit. My hours would be flexible, too.
I'm at home now, and not employed,but looking (if this works out, I won't have to look further!) so this would be absolutely perfect!

I would definitely be interested! The only thing I'm unsure of are the times and amounts of time I may be available, my work schedule fluctuates, plus I have bellydancing and exercise classes, etc. Could we work out a system where people could claim a block of time a couple days ahead of time? And how would the compensation work? Commission based on how much the customer spends? And how would we handle if a customer tried to ask us inappropriate things? At the novelty store I work at, I have permission to shut somebody down if they start to step over the line and I can kick them out if they don't take my warnings seriously.

I am available from 6 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, and 6 am to midnight on Sundays. Due to an agreement with my husband, I can only use a picture of my real face if I am on the payroll.
If this is not a disqualifying factor, count me in!

I'm interested. Using a real picture is a bit uncomfortable for me, though. If it was a disqualifying factor, I'd probably do it, but I would be far more comfortable not using one.

I would be more than happy to help out. An hour or two during the weekday afternoon would be ideal for me but I would need to start more like 2pm EST.

This would be so much fun. Since my job is reviewing products and this often includes sex toys, I've come across lots of the stuff on Eden. What will the requirements be? A minimum number of reviews + contributor rank or something? I so hope I qualify. This would be crazy amounts of fun.

Ooh, I definitely like this idea and I would love to participate. I forgot to pick times I'd be available, but I'm not sure anyway. It depends on how long the shifts are and whether or not I get a new job in the next few weeks. But right now I'm completely open no matter what. Guess that means I need to get a life. Haha.

I am a college student who lives at a college an hour away from home. It keeps me from getting any holiday or summer jobs because employers know they have to dump me after awhile. I really would love to do this in my spare time, of which I have plenty.
This semester I can do anytime from 7 pm-midnight Mondays and Wednesdays, and anytime after 2 pm the rest of the work week. I'm willing to work weekends as well. If work times are flexible, even better!
I'm also curious as to how we'll be compensated. Will it be via gift cards, minimum wage, or affiliate style payment? I'm just curious. Any extra money is awesome for me.

I was thinking, and if this was doable, I would consider a picture similar to Kayla's. Tasteful, kind of a side shot with hair covering part of the face. That would work, if it's a decisive factor.

I think this is a good idea. I don't know how willing customers would be to use such a service. There should be a rank requirement for people who want to participate. I also agree with Valentinka, that there should be some sort of division with regards to expertise with certain kinds of toys. Maybe a check box type of thing could be added to route questions to people with the proper experience/expertise. I know the goal here is to provide great customer service.
I'm mostly noctournal, so I could take the early AM shifts. The shift coverage could be adjusted based on sales data or site activity. I'm sure there are ways to track such things.

I also agree with the minimum requirements. I think it should be a high rank or that you've written over a certain number of reviews so that your experience is backed up by it. Something like this could be a wonderful thing for our customers, but we need to make sure that those selected can provide the helpful information that the customer is looking for. If someone wasn't particularly helpful to a customer it might reflect on the customer's overall opinion of the site.
These are all things I think about because I've been in customer service related jobs for ages now. With certain jobs I had, customers would get really upset if an employee gave them the wrong information or suggested something that didn't work out at all for them.

its a good idea, but might be really hard to implement. It might work better to just have that option open every time we log into our account. Like a task we could accept. Seeing how people on the forum are located all over the world, it might be really hard to have a schedule that will work.

I would suggest that compensation not be commission based. Personally as a shopper, I am always skeptical when I know a salesperson is commission based that they are pushing more expensive items.
