Does anyone feel like the ratings are systematically too generous?

I understand EF picks good toys and well designed products, but 4 stars seems to lose its appeal when everything is 4 or 5. It limits me to looking for 5 star items only. But then for the very best toys, its hard to distinguish them from regular 5 star toys.

I think unique toys have their unique strengths which should be hyped instead of general ratings...

Anyone? Am I alone?

Thanks oldman, maybe a moderator will see this, but I think its hard for them to push for balanced reviews if it helps their profit when competing against other sites...
