I have been looking at lingerie on EF lately, and I have seen this freaky looking sex doll used to model the clothing, instead of a real person.

I guess I have a fear of dolls, but this thing freaks me out. Am I alone in this? Do you all care who or what models the clothing? The first picture in the description is usually a real woman, but the others are like, Lars and the Real Woman model.

I'd really prefer the clothes modeled on a real person.

Just my preference.

You mean the mannequin? She looks very sad, like she feels bad about her job as a lingerie model.

But I like it when lingerie product pages show her modeling outfits. Those pics give me a better idea of what the item will look like on me. I'm shaped much more like the mannequin than like the real life models. Everything looks fantastic on the real life models.

Yup, freaks me the fuck out too. It is also not a great body shape for the lingerie it is modeling. I suggested we use the model pictures and hence you now see real model pictures in addition to many of the times. THANK GOD!

They don't freak me out, but I do like seeing them on real people instead. Especially because I am far more curvy than the mannequin, so it's nice to have a better idea of how it'll fit me!

I think most of the outfits look unattractive on the mannequin unfortunately. I much prefer seeing the outfits on the regular models instead of just the mannequin.

I agree, I find myself looking at things I wouldn't normally look at when it's modeled on an actual person. Does that make sense?

Maybe I haven't seen the same thing? I like the mannequin(s?) I've seen here just fine. The face doesn't really appeal to me a whole lot, but I like the body type.

I feel that there is something about the consistency of one body in one pose that makes a website look more orderly, and a mannequin provides that. Sometimes I can imagine what an outfit would look like on me better with mannequins, also. The feeling of a model and her grooming, a setting sometimes distracts me. But then I have seen models that...I admit...practically sold something to me.

I just don't get much use out of the pictures with her in them. I prefer the ones with actual models, that way you get a better view of how the outfit will fit a real person. However, she does suit the purpose when real model pics aren't up.

I don't think she is a sex doll, and she doesn't bother me. It's what you see on pretty much every other clothing/lingerie website and I actually prefer the mannequins to the photoshopped people you see. What bugs me is seeing a skinny model, and then looking in the plus size section and seeing the same model that has been photoshopped to look bigger (not on this site)

I really haven't seen any models with my body size/shape so the reviews help me choose much more than the photos in any case.

Exactly my sentiments. It's hard to tell what actually looks good on someone when your only reference is a plastic mannequin with a very odd body shape.

Then again, the problem with buying clothes online in general is that you can never know exactly how they'll fit your particular body shape and size.
