I've always topped my boyfriend, but we're both interested in changing it up. I must admit though, I'm scared. He has a pretty decent size cock and i'm scared it will hurt. When you do it for the first time or two do you have to like work up to it with like fingers or something? Will it be enjoyable at all the first time or just painful?
Going to try bottoming for the first time

Optimally, it should never be painful if everything's being done correctly. If you end up bleeding even a little, I'd advise stopping immediately. I definitely recommend "warming up" before trying to bottom for him. A big thing to keep in mind is communication. Let him know how things are feeling for you: to be gentler, or slower, or even to stop for a bit. Do you have smaller, more slender (anal-safe) toys you could try using first? It doesn't have to be a drag; you can totally incorporate it as part of the fun.

If you don't have any anal toys, yeah, I'd say try letting him finger you first. Try to relax and get used to the feeling. Basically it boils down to trust, calmness, and communication ... and lube. A generous amount of lube.

Work up to it. Yes, start out with fingers until he has a good three fingers in and loose. A good enema is a great way to start because then you can just think about getting loose for him.

I imagine that he'll try and do what you do to prep him. Make sure that you let him know what you enjoy, and let him know if you need more prep than he's giving you. There should be little pain involved; if it hurts more than a little it's your body's way of telling you to stop!

I think that the 'first time' for anything is gonna be uncomfortable if you don't communicate. It's the same with vaginal sex; your first time shouldn't hurt if you use lube, lots of prep, and lots of foreplay. Good luck!
