Ok, here I go again asking questions because I am so unexperienced..Is anal sex more fun or pain? Yes! I have to say that I've had some of my best orgasms with anal, and my partner loves it too. Seriously, everyone should try it, and more than once! The first time might not be so wonderful, but just like vaginal sex, it takes practice to figure out what works best for you and your partner.

You've already taken the first step, which is to realize that anal play can be pleasurable, and mentally opening yourself to the possibility. Good start, but you do have some more work ahead for you.

You need to learn how to relax and take something into your rectum.

Go slow, and start with small things (fingers, toys). Use plenty of lube, and takes as much time as you need.

In answer to your question: since you've tried anal play and know you like it, then yes, anal sex will be fun for you if you take the time to do it right (and your partner does, too).

Anal sex is fun *when it's done right*. My first attempt at anal sex was EPIC FAIL and it turned me off of it for a long time. Though I don't have the "awesome anal orgasms" I hear about, it's something that both me and the boyfriend enjoy a lot.

Start slow.

Use lots of lube, and use a good, thick one.

Ease into it. There might be a little initial discomfort until you relax enough, but if it ever really *hurts*, stop and take it slower.

NO anal should ever hurt. If something causes pain...especially there. STOP. Pain is a warning and you don't want warnings from sensitive spots on the body. TONS of lube (too much and then add more!!!) and SLOW, SLOW, SLOW till everything is slick and comfortable is the ONLY way to do anal right. Should be all gain, and ZERO pain. Also, NEVER do the POUNDING or RAMMING thing. That tissue is just not designed for it.

It's much better to start with too much lube and then move down then to start with not enough.

So far I consider it neither bad nor good. On the whole I prefer other things. It's just too much logistically involved for me to really consider it a regular go-to activity sexually. It isn't bad, but I don't get anything special out of it.
