I know that anal toys always have flared bases on them to prevent them from heading up north further than they're supposed to, and that it's not generally recommended to put anything else up there lest you risk losing it rather unpleasantly.

To make it totally safe you could use it with a harness, not necessarily ON your partner but just to prevent it from disappearing. It has a flared base so as long as your bum isn't majorly enjoying itself and wanting more it should be fine but I would put it in a harness or actually buy an anal vibrating toy meant to be used during sex. Use your best judgement and ask your partner to be aware and keep a watch on the toy while you use it!

Yes, this could ba a large potential hazard. Is he holding onto the string? Especially with the vaginal thrusting, it could get thrusted further up. Not good...

I think I would feel okay using it that way as long as he was firmly holding onto the string. I wouldn't trust him to "keep an eye on it" because he's obviously going to be focused on other things. I'd rather just use something with a base so I don't have to worry about it. I was going to recommend the g-play as well but Lauren beat me to it

I have used non-flared objects anally but I had a good grip on them. I would NEVER trust that string!!!!!!!
I'd buy one of the long skinny vibes to use instead and make sure your boyfriend has enough to hold onto.

I normally wouldn't use a toy anally without a suitable base... butt, I can't say for sure on the tethered bullet. If the string is strong enough to pull the bullet from the vise-grip grasp of a silicone dildo, it could be okay. I don't have one so I couldn't say for sure. How long is the string? How secure does it feel? What is the string made of? Is it permanently attached? Will you be able to properly sanitize it before using it elsewhere?

I just could not trust a string! Objects can be just sucked up higher in the anal canal w/o much warning!
Toys with bases are a must for me for butt play. I would suggest the Little Hottie which is a dil with a decent base plus a vibe.

You might want to put something in the string loop to be more sure, especially since you're going to be rolling around on a bed and moving. Since the string is small and floppy it would be hard to reach up in your rectum and snag the toy should it slide all the way in, another negative.

Another thing to keep in mind is that it's going to be difficult to clean that after use, so a condom might be nice.

There are purpose-designed things that perform a similar function. As always I recommend silicone or hard plastic for safety.

Go for some vibrating anal beads to be on the safe side (EF carries an array of nice and affordable ones). Always err on the side of caution for things like this. Save yourself a costly and super embarrassing trip to the emergency room.

I suggest attaching a second, longer string out of something incredibly strong (fishing line?) and then taping both strings to your waist or something.

Normally I'm firmly in the mindset of don't stick anything in your ass that's not explicitly designed for it, but this is an interesting situation.

You could put it in a condom, I suppose, and then you'd have both that and the string. However, you'd be better off buying a set of vibrating anal beads or some other toy actually intended for the purpose. Also, if you can't sterilize that bullet, be sure you never put it anywhere else after it's been used anally.
