Suggestion. Get your partner INTO a nice, warm shower. YOU clean his or her tail end with a nice sudsy soap (liquid soap works best) and a soft wash cloth. You can "play with them" while doing it. Once clean, and STILL IN THE SHOWER, you can let your tongue go there, and it won't seem such a "leap" if you are already "oral" at all. Feels very....CLEAN.

We've been doing it for over 30 years together. Never had a "disaster". Never had the slightest "issue or problem" actually. I suspect that driving to the store for lube is fraught with FAR more "room for disaster", statistically.

I'm pretty much the same. I love doing it to my partner, but it makes me uncomfortable to have it done to me. Thankfully, she likes to receive and is not a huge fan of giving.
