Well is most of it undigested? Maybe instead of a doctor you should see a nutritionist.

I don't know a lot about IBS, but I always recommend the book Anal Pleasure & Health for these kinds of questions. Otherwise, I'd say ask your doctor.

no nothing is undigested I never said that. ya they will tell me to eat fruits and vegtables its all the fiber in them that causes a problem for me its not unndigested but if I eat healthy and eat fruits and vegtables I will get a gut ache all the time and have the shits. I need alot of soluble fiber which is in whtie rice, white bread and pasta t hen on ly a little fiber from fruits and vegtables. I have no energy I coldn't sleep much last night because my ibs was so bad last night and tonight I have to go work my ass off at work because their hasn't been enough ppl I did 5 people's jobs last night.

since having ibs and all this stress and strain on my body I've also had no libido..I did take birth control pills for a few years but I don't take them now only use condoms. I can make out and have fore play for 20 minutes and hardly any wetness so I just use alot of lube.

I'd go take a nap but I'm a REALLY light sleeper, everyone els is up and when my gut makes me get up I have to stay up and be stuck in the toilet all day then go to work.

Stupid question, JR. WHERE is the straight up and down line on my computer key board? I've only been able to occasionally use italics because I copy the ENTIRE instruction in "Links and formatting" and then erase when I don't need.

I didn't grow up in the computer age, and for some reason I CAN'T FIND the " | " (I just copied the line in your post and then erased it all except the line.)

Oh, I have it! | My vision it so shitty, I thought it was two little lines.

THANK YOU!

I hope you feel better, kg. It sucks to go to work with an IBS attack. I used to have to do this and miss most of my shift in the potty. I hope it calms down for you soon!

Well I don't know what to tell you I say that you should try going completely vegan. You will have to eat lots of beans and rice and dark green veggies but it will help you digestion a lot. Vegan means no animal products whatsoever, no eggs, milk, cheese, gelatin, whey, meat, no nothing that comes from animals. I am very sensitive to dairy so I felt great when I was a vegan I became one just for health. But you have to be 100% committed and it takes a week or two for you to start feeling better. It also means that you have to read all of the ingredients on everything you buy and not eat it even if it only has a little something in it. You have to have beans and rice everyday because thats how you get your protein. Avoid eating fruits because they are high in sugar and may mess up you digestion. A big plus of being a vegan is you will drop any extra weight. This is probably the best thing for you to do. It's actually not that hard either because they make tones of stuff for vegan there is even vegan ice cream and yogurt that taste better then the real stuff.

Thanks for your advice I can't tolerate beans they hate me..lots of high Insoluble fiber foods like beans and veggies just give me a gut ache and make me miserable..I can only eat a little vegtables...thanks but I'm going to re read my books I got off helpforibs.com from the number one expert many people follow her diet and have success and get stable, sure you won't be cured or never have a symptom but its possible to become stable. Its not my digestion thats bad its my whole digestive system is over reactive and doesn't work as it should then I get all these symtoms my food digests just fine. I'll let you know when I see some improvemnt.

What kind of veggies are you eating? When I say veggies I mean stuff like kale, spinach, broccoli, stuff that is dark green and leafy. Not corn or potatoes, or things that are high in starch. And as far as beans what kind of beans are you eating. You need kidney beans and black beans, not pinto beans.

kidney beans. I can't sem to tolerate alot of fructose. I don't have malabsorbtion but many ibs'ers have trouble with fructose. I try to avoid HFCS. I will work on my diet myself too see how I feel its gonna take a little time before I can add more foods in My digestive system is very irrtated from dairy and mcdonalds foods and other things. I thought I had an accident today, turns out if was excess mucus..sone ymptom of ibs mucus. it was mucus and some matter that got caught up and I had to change my pants. (where is that embarassed smiley?) I also won't get bored I'll get more creative I'm buying some cookbooks in like 2.5 weeks whenever I get paid..and this week I'm buying a printer scanner thing so I can print all the recipes I saved online and print ones I like and make my own cookbook I really want to try rasberry pie recipe...but I'll see how I feel by thursday and make sure I eat a bowl of cream of rice for breakfast first then a snack after lunch will be a small piece of rasberry pie YUM YUM

Fructose is in fruit, beans don't have them, but rasberry pie does. You also should avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup which is in almost everything, soda especially. Also anything that is hydrogenated is bad and will screw you gut up. Those are the two big ones that will mess you digestion up if you are the least bit sensitive. You may also need more vitamins, IBS can be caused by vitamin D deficiency, B12 deficiency, and Zinc deficiency. Cream rice and rasberry pie wont have those in them. Vitamin D comes from the sun, B12 comes from stuff like asparagus, spinach, brussel sprouts, and broccoli. Zinc is in wheat germ and pumpkin. Just some thoughts on what might help.

Yes, clams are shellfish. Any fish that doesn't have bones is considered "shellfish." I actually also have a terrible anaphylactic allergy to shellfish, so I cannot even be in a room where shrimp is being cooked! That includes lobster (sob I LOVE lobster) crab, clams, oysters, crawfish, conch, scallops, calamari, (even though there is no shell, it still counts) octopus etc. If it's "sea food" and doesn't have a bony skeleton, it's probably considered shellfish.

I found it's good to do what you have done, and also see for yourself what is good. On good days, I can eat brown rice (better for you, fiber all that) on bad days, I can only tolerate white rice. Everybody is different. I don't do well with any fiber supp, though.

I'm late to this discussion, but it's really helped me. I can usually keep my IBS under control with diet and exercise, but like everyone else, there are some things that just make it go nutso. Extra strong doses of caffeine is one of them.

That being said, as much as I want to like anal, I find even finger penetration really painful, even when relaxed (even post orgasm relaxed). And it will usually stimulate an attack the next day. For me, it's just not worth it to have anal penetration. I have to stick with just finger rimming and analingus, which is AH-MAZING!

I second analingus -- we haven't done it in YEARS and when we did we used saran wrap (so many uses for that stuff!), but I do remember it being quite enjoyable.

My best friend has these issues and she has crohn's disease. She can't do any type of anal play at all because it makes it worse.

I bet. For me, it is a bit disappointing. My Mister wants to do it and I want to like it and it's just not a possibility. It's not worth the day in the bathroom the next day.
