Shower enema vs. bottled enema

Contributor: cmm cmm
I've found that the nice jet from the shower hose can clean me out a lot faster and a lot better than a bottle or gravity treatment. Does anyone have a specially designed shower enema that hooks in? I simply just disconnect the shower massager and let the pressure from the water enter me.

Please be ultra careful. The force from any shower is far harder and thus more dangerous to delicate intestinal tissue, then the passive flow of a gravity enema bag or a hand pumped enema syringe or bottle. You could give yourself a perforation and a horrible peritonitis from using plumbing strength water flow.

Totally agree, be very careful with pressure and temperature. We have an attachment that hooks into our shower head, we have a valve that you can control the pressure of the water. It works great! Thanks to my man for being very handy and his knowledge at the plumbing store.

I definitely agree that it is orders of magnitude stronger than gravity, but i never insert the nozzle of the hose into me. The pressure is enough to bypass the sphincter muscles if I completely relax or slightly push out, but it never feels like its enough to be dangerous. As for temperature, it's always lukewarm and never hot. Just being in the shower is convenient though, and it's nice to not constantly be flushing the toilet.

My wife being in the medical field advises not to do too much cleaning out down there. The rectum is self cleaning and needs the natural body bacteria to stay intact.

Good point about the temperature too. The lining of the intestine does not sense temperature and a tissue burn could happen very easily.

That is, indeed, our ultimate "bottom line" (pun intended). We never use enemas for "prepping" prior to anal play. We just make sure no one needs to "go" and then do a little external cleaning and maybe some soapy finger action, in the shower, and we are "good to go". Never had a soiling problem in decades of play.

In that case, you are really pretty much just cleaning the outside and the sphincter muscle, which we do as well, in the shower.

Use bottled (water)enema before. Too messy if you have to head to the loo in the middle of "fun".
