Achieving orgasms is a much more tricky thing for women than for men. And it seems to me women often pretend they got off to not hurt feelings and ego of their partners. Personally, I have faked orgasms a couple of times because my man is kind of too sensitive when it comes to his performance in bed.

So have you ever faked orgasms? How often did you do that? Do you think it's a normal thing to imitate it, or is this practice harmful for relationships?

Oh yeah, I've faked orgasms a few times. For the same reason as you did - didn't want my boyfriend felt like he is not good enough.

I've faked it in the past with an ex. With my husband, I'm honest and I'm glad I have been! After being together for a while, he randomly asked me one time if I got off because he got off faster than normal and I told him no. He then went down on me until I had my orgasm. Sometimes honesty is best! Now everytime I didn't achieve an orgasm during intercourse he will use a toy or go down on me after.

I was also fearful of making him feel bad that I didn't, but glad he seemed to take a different approach rather than being offended.

Fortunately, I've never had to fake any. I had never had any up until recently and my only partner wasn't sensitive/self conscious in bed so I never felt the need to. That partnership wasn't very long and obviously you don't fake orgasms in solo play. So I wouldn't give my experience a whole lot of weight.
I do feel like it could hurt a relationship, but it's probably something that would be better discussed outside the bedroom. Although it all depends on the people in the partnership.

I must be a cruel female. I have never faked orgasm & sort of find concept baffling. Huge population of men don't consider our satisfaction while having sex,I don't feel honesty hurts their ego.So if I don't finish I speak up so if there's a next time he won't do samething. I kind of look at it as rewarding bad performance if fake an orgasm.

My ex admitted that she only faked it once or twice. She only did it because she couldn’t take anymore. The times she faked it we were going at it for at least 1 1/2+ hours.

My partners ask if I came quite often, which is odd since I'm vocal and twitchy as hell! If I didn't, I reply truthfully so we can work together to achieve the best for both of us.
