I feel like such a noob asking this, but I was just wondering exactly how people commonly define squirting.

Is the term "squirting" just for what I've seen in porn -- when liquid is coming out in a waterfall type way or flying through the air?
Or does it also include when a lot of liquid comes out during sex or orgasm, but just in a less momentous way?

I'll read reviews for toys where it says, "This is the first time I've ever squirted" saying it took the O to the next level. I guess I'm just wondering what the conventional definition for it is.
