What type of Kegel balls do you prefer?

Contributor: Eliza Eliza
Looking to get some sort of product to help with kegels, but I'm not sure what is the best to start with. They all seem to have quite a bit of variety, so I thought I'd get some more opinions.

If you have specific suggestions, please comment!

Which kegel exercisers would you recommend?
I'm looking to buy my first toy for Kegel Exercise, and I have no idea where to start! Suggestions? And can anyone tell me the pros/cons of something.

Do you have a specific brand or style that's worked best for you?

I use the Emigi and I love it.

I've used only the Emigi so far but I definitely want it to have a removal string. I'm much too nervous to try ball without one, though they work great for some. And I'd prefer extra movement so I like the ones with two balls.

I think something like the Emigi, or the luna beads would be ideal.

Was it heavy enough for you? I was reading some comparisons and a lot of the ones that have separate beads are heavier, and I'm not sure how much of a difference it'll make.

They didn't feel heavy at all to me, actually. What I like more than weight is how well the inner balls jingle, or "vibrate", around inside. My Emigi feels great when it works but it occasionally sticks.

I also have the Emigi, but I almost never feel it move. It's so small that it feels more like a tampon to me... I'm looking into other balls for the future.

I LOVE my Luna Beads. I only use one ball (stringless one) at a time cause the girdle is too long for me.

The best - until it broke - was the crystal egg because you could attach weights to it for a better workout. I could attach enough weight that I had to squeeze super hard to keep it in. I think I really could have made progress if it hadn't broken so quickly.

Something a little smaller that I could attach as much weight as I wanted would be perfect. I ordered some jade eggs that you can attach weights to from another site, but they're so tiny. They're like grapes.

So I'm still looking for the perfect kegel device.

Same here...the Emigi was my first and only kegel exerciser and I have not had the urge to buy any other kind....love it!

I love my Emigi, mainly because the subtle vibrations help work the vaginal muscles without me thinking about it, it's easy to clean, and for me the retrieval string works great.

Haha, looks like the Emigi will be first on my list.

I loove my Luna beads! Different weights to switch in and out, plus they tickle when you move your hips

I recently bought the Teneo Uno (link) for my first Kegel ball. I really like it, but it's a little big. I bought it at a store and it was the heaviest one they carry. I like the weight of it, as I can feel the ball rolling around when I walk and move. I wear it when I go dancing a lot to get a good workout. I'd recommend it, but not it's you're small. It would just be uncomfortable getting in and out.

Yeah, the smartballs seem a little big. I'm not sure I would have any trouble holding that in, and I'm scared it would stretch me more than exercise me.

you could always just use the squeeze and hold method.

This is a little embarrassing, but I don't think I understand the muscles well enough to figure that out on my own. I don't really know how to isolate them.

I like my Emigi. I would be terrified if I put something up my vagina without a retrieval string (even though I KNOW I would be able to get them out, it still freaks me out.)

I prefer two balls, no retrieval, 3/4" diameter. I have the LeLos and they're also excellent, but they're too big so my muscles don't actually do any work.

I am starting with one ball, but looks like I will eventually need to invest in another 2 ball set!
