I swallow unless I'm sick. I did it as an act of love for my ex, who said it would hurt his feelings if I didn't. If I had to spit (usually because I had a runny nose, and semen + mucus = disgusting nausea), I held it in my throat, excused myself for some water, and then brought it all back up into the sink.

I don't mind doing it, and it is a lot cleaner than the alternatives. I hate having semen in my hair - that grosses me out a lot more than swallowing ever could.
