I do NOT like it when it's bitter. Gross. But I swallow anyway. I've never had any that was sea food salty.

I asked my wife what she thought of mine, and the face she made suggested that "yucky" would have been her answer were it an option. Pressed for details, she went with tangy/bitter. Needless to say, I don't get to finish in her mouth any more - she hates it so much that she won't even consider trying it again after a few days on a pineapple diet.

My fiancee says I taste sweet.

My boyfriend has a different taste depending on what he eats. For example, fruit is sweeter, and if he's eaten any meat recently, then it has a just plain nasty taste I can barely swallow without puking.

My current guy really doesn't taste like much of anything. I was really surprised the first time!
My last boyfriend had a salty/bitter cum, that I reeeally had to brace myself to swallow. Don't have that problem with this one, though!

I've never really noticed any taste to my boyfriends cum, so I guess there really isn't one? Usually I just swallow, so it doesn't spend too much time on my taste buds to notice

BITTER! Oh my gosh it's so nasty! But i've only tasted my husbands and he's not on the best diet (not a lot of fruit and veggies). I want to see if him changing his diet will help things.

But as it stands i can't even let it touch my tongue!

I guess to make the bj experience better we need to feed our men lots of fruit!

I'd like to note that also the texture can vary, in my personal experience. My first boyfriend had very thin semen, that had a very light salty taste, which never bothered me in the 2 years we were sexually active. My husband is another story though! It have always been very thick, and his flavor has changed a few times. At first I couldn't stand it because it tasted and smelled like bleach mixed with mildew, my skin would actually have a reaction to it. Now I can handle it better, its kind toned down to like a lightly bitter taste with a hint of earth. The texture still gets me though. I have to keep a glass of water handy or it just sticks in my throat.

My ex was bitter made me want to gag, but my boyfriend I guess you could say is salty.

It IS pretty much totally diet based.
Pineapple makes a guy tastes sweet, vegetarians are pretty much never bitter, red-meat eating guys who take a lot of medication are going to be tart.

This one guy who smoked and barely ever ate non-processed non-meats tasted like motor oil.
I make it a point to taste myself every once in awhile, just to make sure I'm not putting Professor Girlfriend through anything I haven't already done.

Ugh! Unfortunately for me my partner's semen is so bitter I can barely swallow it. I don't care about the texture or anything like that, but the taste alone triggers my gag reflex because it's just that terrible.

Funny, my husband eats and drinks all the things guys aren't "supposed" to to make semen taste funny. He smokes, he drinks coffee, he drinks alcohol, he loves onions and garlic etc. Aside from the occasional garlic breakthrough, and a really weird taste and smell from asparagus, he doesn't taste or smell bad.

It is a mixture of bleach, melon and salt.
