Normally, I am not really "that big" when I am soft. But, my wife says to me "Its ok honey, you're a "grower". " lol. Is this a good thing? When I am hard its like it triples or quadruples in size and Im not sure if thats "normal" Or if its common. Anyone else?

It's perfectly normal. Ever notice that in really cold weather everything shrinks down - that's normal as well.

My husband is that way. His penis looks like a sleeping turtle with his head tucked into his neck flap. It's no problem for me and I think it's cute!

That's how my boyfriend is. It looks like just the head when he is fully soft. When he is erect though he is of average size. Definitely a grower.

Not all men are so uncomfortable with their sexualities and bodies and not all men feel the need to portray a hypermasculine image. In fact, assuming that a man's ego will be hurt by using a "feminized" word to describe any part of his anatomy is sexist, to both men and women. It's just veiled misogyny.
