Absolutely. If I'm not feeling close to my husband, my sex drive goes down. But, relationships are one big pendulum, so when it gets too far in a negative direction, we work hard and that pendulum swings back to positive, and the sex drive comes back. Neither of us have much motivation for sex after a fight. We'll cuddle and be close, but not necessarily have sex.

I think sex is better when we are closer to one another so I completely agree with that statement.

I have noticed that when I feel closer to my husband, I am more relaxed, not as guarded emotionally, happier and definitely more sexual. After a fight, no, no sex-just touching, some cuddling and reconnecting time.

I'm kind of the opposite way. The more time I spend with someone, the less I want to have sex with them.
