So I am in my mid 40s and married with wife. We want to try swinging. But I have been vas'd and am ready for action. Wife is still fertile. She wants to use condoms only for birth control.

We would use condoms anyways for disease prevention. But I am concerned about having just condoms as birth control for her. I would be afraid of them tearing/leakage, or them slipping off. Thinking about requiring the guy to use a cock ring to hold it on (?).

Anyone have any input? I know it's a juvenile question, but I never had sex growing up so I never really got to use condoms as birth control and wonder what people use in addition to them or by themselves?

Why take that chance ! She should just get her tubes tied. Omg just think what would happen if she were to get impregnated by a stranger.

Not only could the condom fail, in the heat of the lust he may tear it off. I'll had that happen before. Condoms may give some protection but less feeling. . I thinking since you got fixed, you guys don't use condoms. Therefore don't know how they feel.

You are wise though to worry about STD's .
Perhaps find another avenue of pleasure. Ever been to a sex dungeon? We haven't. but if we did would want one with those f**k**g machine.

Yes, she will visit her MD later this year. Will go on the pill. Feels kinda silly, as I am the one who is gelded. But if you want to play, you've got to be prepared. Will do that and condoms as required equipment. You're right, not very fun, but don't think we will go bareback.

Unless we form a faithful poly group (which in mind would be nearly impossible to find), when we can all go bare and enjoy. That would be so cool!

Never been to a dungeon. I think the nearest one for us would be in Atlanta. Curious about it now!

BC pills are good, but not 100% foolproof . And there are possible side effects. Tubal ligation also is not 100% foolproof,but less likely. I'm glad I got mine done after our last child. And for me sex became much more enjoyable.

We've never been to a dungeon before either, but seen videos of gals and guys getting pummeled by those thrusting sex machines.

I've been reading Fetlife ads and there is one in Ca.....it looks posh.

Condoms are only 50% effective , maybe a little more.

When condoms fail, there's a very high chance that was the result of improper care of the condom.
