If a woman talks about how many lovers she's had or how much she loves sex - everyone thinks she's a tramp or a whore etc...

I think some women lie and some don't. I agree with Stormy that some of the lying may be due to women being shamed by revealing themselves as sexual creatures.

I'm certainly not ashamed of my actions, and will tell when I think the tale deserves telling. I also know how to use politeness and not use my sexual life to make others uncomfortable in situations where talking about sexual situations is not advisable.

I keep the number of lovers I've had to myself. For me, that isn't anyone business, I just don't think it's information most people need. Aside from that, I'm honest if asked.

I think it comes down to the personality of the person that they are speaking with. A lot of my friends are very open about sex and sexuality and don't judge so it is easy to be honest with them during a frank discussion on sex. But I have encountered people who a little more reserved about the topic, with them I just omit certain details (such as I was in an open relationship, three-ways and enjoy anal)

I think other women do, but I don't. I don't have any STDs, and always used protection. Who cares? I can't even count, to be honest. I estimate 80.

I think it depends on the community, but mine is largely religious. People lie about sex all the time. More often than not, people say they are virgins when they aren't.
