I was reading a review and it stated the toy would be good for temperature play and beside warming gels and the effects of ice cubes I never really considered it. So I'm curious how many are into temperature playing and what do you prefer cold or hot.

The change in temperature can cause a very interesting and intense sensation that you would never have experienced at room temperature. Admittedly, I like heat better than cold, but cold works wonders right after heat.

Out temperature play is not extreme. Metal and glass toys are actually cool to the touch without outside assistance. In the winter we will use a heating pad to take the chill off the same glass and metal toys.

I would say I like warm more than cold. But cold does not always work that good in the back door.
I have a Pure Wand and the stainless hold the heat/cold so good, at least ten minuets longer than glass. A hot bath is the best way I have found to keep the temp of the toy constant.

Thanks for the posts/votes. I am curious now. Don't think my current toys are made from decent freezer material though. I did already purchase a pure wand guess I'll have to see when it arrives.

I like playing with hot oils and waxes, but not ice and cold steel or glass toys. Makes the muscles contract and spaz out. Like Dwtim said, it doesn't bode well for the backdoor.

I think wax scares me. I'd be afraid of real burns. I know they make candles especially for it though I was looking at them earlier. Can't decide if I want to attempt to overcome that fear or not.

When I first read about temperature play I wondered why anyone would want to put something cold in them. But it's a neat sensation. I like hot and cold.
