That is one of the few things that I won't even remotely try.
1 - I have asthma and don't need a reason to instigate an attack.
2 - I was attacked when I was a teen and he choked me - it was a pretty bad experience and I can't see finding anything but fear in it.
3 - Hubby ain't into nothing like that.

I am usually very nervous, too nervous to allow anyone to choke me, but I let my guy choke me once in a while. For me, it's all about trust, and knowing that he knows me well enough to realize what my signals mean, and to pay attention when we use safety signals (because I can't really talk when being choked, so safety words and such can't apply)

I usually enjoy it, but lately I have had to have hubby move the palm of his hand to my collar bone, so that there is less pressure on my throat.

I enjoy it, however it is something my Daddy and I are very careful of. First off I have asthma, so can't be choked too long, plus there is the risk of serious damage if you choke too hard.
For me, the choking is more a mindset. He never chokes me hard enough that I cannot breathe, rather it is the sensation of his hand around my neck that puts me in a very submissive mindset.
When we want to do more control he will put his hand around my mouth and nose, since that is much safer, Once again though, never to the point of passing out, rather He is showing me that He controls my life fully, which is something we both agreed to from the beginning.

There are safe ways and not so safe ways to do breath play. The DVD Rough Sex (the first one) has a tutorial on how to do safe choking and breath play.
Safe, Sane and Consensual and you can't go wrong. Well, usually.

I love it as long as it's just a firm hand around my neck and not actually cutting off my airway. If I can't breathe I start to panic and that's not fun at all.

I had NO idea this many people didn't like it. I have to admit I would've never consider it but someone tried it with me and now it absolutely drives me crazy and turns me on so quickly. I don't like my airway blocked off but a firm hand around my neck is a definite YES!
