Have you ever fucked someone with opposing political views?

Contributor: aluminummm aluminummm
I always joke and say I would spite-fuck someone with politics opposite to my own (if only to consensually dom them, lez be real here), but I don't know if I could actually go through with it. What about the rest of you?

Yes, once. I found out after the fact though.

Thinking back, I think we broke up not too long after that...she cheated on me.

I certainly have. I once had sex with them too.

Yes I have, and it wasn't awful or awesome because of that. The sex had nothing to do with their, or my, views.

The politics is discussed long before it gets to being in bed, so it's never happened. Usually those with opposing politics to mine are a turn-off because (this being the South) they tend to be sex-negative and female-shaming - so I'm never attracted to them to begin with.

Yes, I have, but the sex had nothing to do with our views. We liked each other and got along well, even though we disagreed on stuff. A real relationship wouldn't have worked out because we had different views, but we knew that and were okay with it. We're still friends.

I have friends and family all over the political spectrum. As long as they are thoughtful, nuanced and not extreme, I don't really care. People are people, and more than the sum of their beliefs. Besides, sometimes when you befriend those people, you can influence them and help change their minds.

No, I don't think that would work very well for me.

What? I don't think I know for sure how to answer that. I don't see how having sex with someone with different views would be dominating them, even only in your mind. Wouldn't it more like be giving IN to them? Hmmm.. I don't know, but no, I've never had sex with someone who's had extremely different views from my own. But then again, I've only had one partner in my adulthood. My lovie and I have been together since I was 15, so I guess that doesn't give me much room to have ever come into contact with an opportunity such as this to either take or turn down. I don't know if it'd matter to me. I mean if they had extremely different views from me, like they felt opposite of the way I do on matters I feel so strongly and passionately about, I doubt I'd ever have much to do with them in the first place.

Just having some minor disagreements or minor different opinions isn't a big deal though.

no I haven't and I would never! It would really drive me nuts since I like politics.

Yea, I don't think it's that hard to separate the too. Though I have had argument about birth control in the case of "what if" that almost got a little too heated.

No and I don't plan to. My husband and I agree when it comes to politics, and he was my first and as long as all goes well, he will be my only.

I'm sure I must have. Most people don't have the same opinions as me, and I tend to refrain from debating politics, just like my mama taught me. I don't think knowing would have made a difference though. Unless the person was like "I believe in slavery" or something, I really wouldn't let their political views effect our bedroom happenings.

I voted other because I have but the sex had nothing to do with their political views or vice versa, lol. The relationship didn't work out for other reasons.
