I am sure we are heard.
Our kids are 1, 2, 10 and 12 yrs. old. Our older kids have to knock before they enter, and I constantly remind them that if they don't they may contribute to their own childhood scars, by seeing one of us naked.
We usually lock the door when we are having sex, luckily the 2 yr old has never caught us off guard.

I've seen/heard my parents. The dog knocked the door open right as I passed by . I was old enough to be like "oh, little disgusting to think about but whatever"

We had it happen at least a couple of times. Most of the time we locked the door. If we couldn't we just tried to stay under the covers. I think, if I recall correctly, we just told them to leave that we were cuddling. LOL

Dont have kids yet. I never walked in on my parents either. Not a sound from them. I dont know how they do it.

I answered other, my son has but as of yet he hasn't asked what we were doing, just wanted what he needed and that was it. He has autism so I think that could be why hes oblivious to what we were doing lol

My reference: I've been babysitting 2 kids for about 4 years now, and the youngest can't remember her first day of kindergarten (she's 6, she just finished kindergarten...), not to mention the fact that I babysat her last summer...

I think we have the only house in the world that does not have locks on any of the interior doors. That said we rarely have sex in the bedroom since we co-sleep (the 2 year old is the only one that sleeps with us right now. One night over the winter we were fooling around under blankets in front of the fireplace and our 5 year old son got up because he was thirsty. Husband got up (still naked - we are pretty open with that) and got him a drink. Son asked why he was not dressed and husband told him he took his clothes off because he was hot with them on and our son said that he should not sit so close to the fire then. Then son went back to bed and we got back to business after a good laugh.
