How many guys here actually use "cock rings"?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
Seems there are a ton of different ones, in all kinds of materials. I wonder how many guys actually use them? I have never wanted my hubby to use them for fear of damage to the very delicate vascular bed and vascular valve system that regulates normal erections.
Has anyone had problems with these devices?

I don't really wear them. I have tried some, but didn't do much. I have a leather snap kind that is ok, but I don't use it. They can be a pain to get on and off without a snap.

Never had any problems. So far we have only used the free ones that your get with orders. We are planning on getting some better ones soon. Try the free one with your next order. No medical problems, they are not that tight. I think to cause problems it would have to be way to small/tight. Some rings require him to be sized. Do your research get the one that fits you'll be good to go.

I use mine all the time - I prefer the steel Omega for looks, comfort and performance. The only issues is that for steel you have to be completely flaccid to but it on - otherwise I have to use a more flexible silicone ring.

I do not use the cock-only rings - or rings with vibrators on them.

I started using them when I was having trouble mantaining an erection while putting a condom on. I think the basic lasso type is the best way to go. Don't keep it on for more twenty minutes at a time and you wont have any vascular problem.

Cock rings are effective in making an erection harder and reducing premature ejaculation..surprisin gly. But if your having ED issues then its not the antidote. The culprit could be be weak cock muscles. If your getting sex on the regular its not an issue but if you go weeks without then your cock has a tendancy to become weak. Your cock is fifty percent muscle so it just like not jogging for weeks if your a jogger. Your not going to be at your best.

Checkout a book on cock exercising and penis extenders do work. The traction devices. I have used for nine months and have added a inch and it has made me much stronger. It keeps your cock fit in the event your not getting sex on the regular.

I've had some bruising from the "tension ring" that's used with a medically prescribed vacuum device. I did not exceed the recommended thirty minutes maximum time recommended either.
With the regular silicone or metal cock rings I've never had any sort of problems like that. Those tension rings are extremely tight, some of the information provided said that it would work with a paralyzed man so that he could have a sufficient erection for intercourse as well.

My husband used an inexpensive silicone cock ring on and off but would say "no" when I'd ask if he wanted to try one made of metal. Last month he finally gave me the thumbs up and I ordered the Omega brushed steel and we both really like it.

If EF begins stocking the engraved Omega in 1-7/8" or 2" I may just splurge and get one.

Mind you we don't use the solid ones or the metal type. We use the rocks off cock ring, and the screaming O flexible kind and a rubbery strap type one because they are easy to get off if you need to. I wrote a sexis article about the types of Cock rings if you are interested!

We've only used silicone cock rings, and have never had problems with them. My understanding is that the rigid ones are the only ones that MAY cause some problems, which is why we haven't tried stainless steel.

I use them almost every time I have sex with my girlfriend. They seem to make me last longer and I gain about 1/4" in circumference (not to mention being harder than ever).
