I agree with you completely! We were the same way with all four of ours. The only kid we had a crib with was our first, but her Dad and I were both too scared that she was going to die in her crib (first time, young parents and that was our only fear!), so she slept in bed with us.

I even think if they're in the bed with you, as long as you're not having wild and crazy sex, it's fine. But sleeping, not watching, with a barrier between you and them. They don't know. Really, it's whatever you and your partner feel comfortable with. Not up to anyone else to say.
