I have had my bikini line and underarms treated. Note that laser hair removal should really be called laser hair reduction! I used to have a really hard time shaving my bikini line and I would get terrible ingrown hairs. Those bumps were painful and really made me self-conscious. I've had three treatments and the results are so noticeable. I still have to shave, but only fine thin hairs instead of stout angry ones!
Note also that laser hair removal success depends on a ton of factors like skin and hair tone/color. It is also quite possibly the most painful procedure I have ever endured (perhaps due to the depth of my follicles- they are quite stout). I have multiple genital piercings, and nothing compares to this! I would do it again in a heartbeat though.
One last comment- this is something I did totally for myself. My partner kind of shrugged his shoulders and said excess bikini hair didn't phase him at all.

I've had it and I must say that they are very smart to only sell it in packages. If I would have been able to just get one treatment and then decide if I wanted to go back I wouldn't have gone back. The only reason I stuck with it was because I had spent so much money and couldn't get any of it back if I were to try and get out of my contract.
Once the hair is gone it's great, but man does it suck to go through.

I haven't done it but my lady has. She was just fed up with having to shave so much and like the Scientist said its more for reduction. She still has a few treatments left and that's the only thing thats really impacted our sex life. For a few days after a treatment she's pretty tender in all those areas so I have to take it a little easy.

I have my last treatment Tuesday. I have been going every 6 weeks for a year to have my underarms treated. I have MS and frequently experience complete numbness (sometimes for weeks on end) under my arms and around my trunk, and shaving is very dangerous when you can't feel if the razor is touching you or not.
I have red hair, but my underarms are a little darker. I have very little hair remaining, all that is left are the reds and blondes (the laser cannot see red or blonde hairs, they act like a mirror and the laser passes directly through them, not penetrating them at all). I used to have to run the razor over each pit about 8-10 times, now when I shave, it takes only 3 or 4 swipes and I am done. I can go for a week or two before I feel the need to shave (even then, my husband says he can't really see it, but I know it's there).
It cost me $400-$450 for a years worth of treatment and I can go back 2 times a year for clean-up at no charge.

my local medispa runs great specials.... 50% procedures at least once or twice a year , without that I would never have been able to have the procedures. I also requested gift certificates to the spa as a present for one of my bridal showers! It's better use of money than a penis tiara!

We have been looking in to this and possibly getting the full Brazilian done but man we really want to see photos of what it would do specially since it will cost a couple grand just for downstairs.

I was curious to do this, I saw mixed reviews for the bikini area that it does hurt or doesn't hurt. But also, its insanely pricey (plus takes what, 6 visits?) so that's a bit of a deterrence.
