Who is anyone to say what is 'normal' and what's not......
For me it wouldn't be. But I don't like talking on the phone much at all to anyone. Much prefer online, but even online I don't talk non-spot for 12hrs. Or at least not to the one person.

I think my longest calls were like 3 hrs or so when I was 18 or so. Nowadays, I can't stand talking on the phone that long.

I don't talk to anyone on the phone that long. I text message almost everyone. The person I talk to on the phone the most is my mom and the longest is usually an hour and a half.

I had a friend who I would talk to for 6-8 hours sometimes (we'd start talking at 9 or 10 at night and go until nearly sunrise... or beyond!). It depend on what YOU define "normal" to be as whether it is or not.

Wow! It wouldn't be normal for me, but I get antsy talking on the phone after just a few minutes. I'm only good for about an hour, max.

I've spent hours on the phone with a friend...never 12, though. I can't talk that long now in my 30's, but back when I was a teenager...who knows.

Normal is what you make it. Talking on the phone I don't have an attention span that long for the phone. If I was online, yeah I could do that.
