My girlfriend and I have had very replete sex, but now we have to live in different cities and won’t be seeing each other often. I don’t wanna lose the drive that we have and I’m really afraid of losing that spark. After all, I know all the stuff they say about long-distance. But I’m adamant about it.

Has anybody been in a successful long-distance? Are there any tips or advice on how to keep things hot & sexy while we’re apart? I heard there are some toys for long-distance couples, but I’m not familiar. Really really waiting for your input. Thanks!

My husband and I have been together 10 years and we have lived 3/4 of our marriage in a long distance relationship. We we're bound to make it work because we have kids together, so we knew we had to find ways to help with the spark.

We sent videos, we sent photos, and it was all at surprise moments. So neither knew when one would come in, which I think helps. App based toys we're just starting to roll out and they are quiet pricey, so we never bothered with them, but the thought of them had us both intreguied.

Obviously it's not easy, lots of communication and trust and not what, but just make sure you keep the intamacy fun when you're separated. My husband would occasionally order me toys and have them delivered to our house as a surprise and it was always interesting. It always made me want to jump his bones when he got to come home for a weekend.

I agree with O&P here - communication is key when you're going through a time like that in your relationship. And I don't mean only sexual communication - you have to make each other feel like you're still there, right by each other's side. Pics and sexts flame up the passion, they surely do, but I would give app-based toys a try - after all, that's why they make them - for us to feel closer

10 years is an impressive term! I'm happy that you managed to keep the passion in the relationship despite years of long-distance.

There are long distance toys that you can use and it remote control via Bluetooth and wifi which lets you control your partner and just have fun with them. I am sorry you guys live so far apart hopefully one day soon you can be back together!

Actually, we've tried recently one of the remote control toys, and you're right, it was fun! It was so exciting, that we use this toy almost every our date
