I was pondering this for awhile after I saw this post. Honestly I think that the only time I ever made love was with an ex. Everyone else including my current partner it has always become hard fucking regardless of what our intentions were when we started.
My current boyfriend was a little put off by this at first, but we employ foreplay that is more often than not gentle and very loving rather than frenzied.
Both he and I had been wondering if this was normal, and it is a relief to see this thread. (his words btw)
