When I first watched 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' in high school it had a dramatic effect on my outlook on sexuality. For those of you who aren't familiar with the movie, it's theme is essentially that sex is a good thing and should be explored, adored, and out in the open. It carries this message ostensibly through a veneer of fishnet thigh highs, synchronized dancing, and sweet transvestites from Transylvania. This movie really helped me feel alright about my own sex life and less guilty about things that were thought of as dirty in a conservative home, like masturbation.
