Masturbating alone or with a friend: Which gives you better orgasms?

Contributor: Rollmeover Rollmeover
My orgasms are different when I masturbate than when I'm playing with a partner. What makes them different (or the same) for you? Why do you like one better than the other? How satisfying are they comparatively?

Equally satisfying in either scenario but in markedly different ways. Solo, I can rush and just worry about me getting off but with a partner, I am interacting and aiming for their orgasm -- not just my own.

I need an "other". I don't believe I have ever masturbated with a partner there. It would be like playing solitaire, while another person is there with their own deck of cards. I don't get it. Sex is a multi player sport, in my book.

Equally satisfying. Sometimes one of us will be in the middle of doing something, so we masturbate alone and sometimes we'll join the other; sometimes it's for watching and sometimes watching + teasing.

With my husband no..he is very conservative and has a low sex drive. I do masturbate with male friend. I love watching a guy jerk off and it does give me a very intense orgasm.

Does your husband know you do this with a male friend? If he doesn't know then you are cheating on him.

He does know, it was his suggestion that I stretch my sexual boundaries so to speak.

"Sex is a multi player sport, in my book." Does this mean the more the merrier? Just Kidding

With all seriousness, Both situations have their merits. When alone, one can tailor their fantasies however they see fit with no judgement from anyone. With a partner, one can share your intimacy with someone or several others (whichever floats your boat). These two situations might account for the difference in the strength or preference of one's orgasm.

Finally, getting to the original questions, personally I like both.

I've only ever masturbated alone, unless with a sex partner counts as "a friend". Although as a bi guy I wouldn't have a problem masturbating with a friend, male or female, if the situation arose. Indeed, that does sound like fun to perhaps turn a friend into a friend with benefits!
