There is definitely a lot in between. I personally hate gels, it just feels awkward to me. I love oil based lubricant, but I also like silicone based ones and some night and light water based.

Bwahaha everyone should watch Gardening on Salvia! Hilarious.

I really like Liquid Silk Lubricant. It's the best I have found and I have used SO many different kinds. Just watch out if you are allergic to parabens.

I definitely prefer silicone lube and use Bodyfluid most often.

I do like Liquid Silk as well—which is classified as a water-based lube, but comes with a touch of silicone.


I also love Organic Love Balm which is a coconut-oil based, all natural lube. I actually use it as skin softener, rather than lube, but it's a great choice for anybody looking for an organic product, a product safe for latex (coconut oil instead of petroleum oil is safe for condom use) and who prefers the "oil" consistency.

If it's for anal play, I like Sliquid gel. Otherwise I just use spit where needed.

I like thick, gel lubes for anal play. I use astroglide gel, and I love it. I've tried thinner lubes, and was dissatisfied.
